Organizational endorsement means entering the Covenant of Care — seven commitments with annual renewal and public accountability. It costs something. That's the point.

The Covenant of Care

Not a statement of support — a covenant. Each commitment gets its own explicit yes.

1. Policy in writing. We will adopt and publish a non-discrimination policy naming gender identity and disability explicitly.2. Training, not slogans. We will provide documented staff training on affirming practice at least annually, available for audit.3. A living reporting channel. We will maintain a working, monitored channel for community members to report harm, with a stated response timeframe.4. Radical transparency. We will disclose, on request, how our organization has responded to at least one documented instance of harm within its own walls.5. Discomfort accepted. We acknowledge in writing that upholding this Covenant may cost our organization something, and we commit to bearing that cost rather than reversing course under pressure.6. Presumption of good faith. We will not require a member of the public to prove the legitimacy of a stated identity, disability, or need as a precondition of respectful service, and will address suspected fraud through proper institutional channels, never public confrontation.7. Annual renewal. We will re-affirm this Covenant every twelve months, understanding that endorsement lapses automatically without renewal and that lapsed status is shown publicly.
